COMMENT SERIES [PART-1]

Image
In this series of blog, I write about infuriating comment people leave on social media without any moral compassion and why it should not be normalised.       If you have known me personally, I tend to be vocal about things I support and often get into scuffle with people who thinks otherwise. In real life, if there is a disagreement, I try to think from their point of view and will conclude my opinion based on the facts which were shared among ourselves. Even though, there won't be much of a compromise of  ideologies on both side, the points were made, the other parties were civil and everything else was well and good.     But when it comes to clash of opinion on Internet, it is a whole different stories. People often be rude and impolite just because they have the power to hide behind fake accounts. This anonymousness gave them a superiority boost and thus the reason why so many troll and hate accounts exist in the first place. I...

Midnight Rants!

Image
Some nights are harder to sleep than others. I don't even know why I am worrying over something so insignificant. These unwanted thoughts plunge into my brain and make me feel sorry about myself and there is no need for that. I am starting to hate quite places. Because calmer the place is, harsher my thoughts will be.     Do I want to victimise myself? No     Do I want or crave to feel  something? Yes          But  then again, most of the nights end up in a good note where I get to escape from reality and see my favourite characters getting a happy ending. Of course, only if the author feels like it. I would really like to know, why nothing ever seems to please me. The way I treat myself is neutral. Sometimes I feel over the moon, compliment myself and my self love would be on the peak. Then, at times I inflict so much pain to myself than anybody ever could.     I feel like that I delude myself t...

Warmth

Image
Have you ever felt the satisfaction of doing something you like? Like reading a book under a mesmerizing sunset while sipping a hot cup of coffee, and the main character builds up their courage to finally confesses their undying love to their loved one, or like when the singer group you have been supporting for ages finally decides to hold a concert in your town and you get your hands on the barricade ticket? Well! That is my type of happiness. Maybe your happiness will look like breaking free from the social norms and being yourself or watching your favorite show with your loved ones or starting to redo things you discontinued and finding out that it still feels like home, that it still feels like your thing to do. The satisfaction may differ based on the circumstances. But we all can agree that at least once in our lifetime, we are enthusiastic about several things. Do you know what else we get this happiness and satisfaction from? By reminiscing our childhood days, those ...

Tamil Serials And Why Do We Need To Address The Problems In It. [PART-1]

Image
There are a lot of serials in Tamilnadu which I particularly hate. By hate, I meant the concept not about the actors or directors. But it felt like there are many things which are need to be addressed. So I will be doing that now. So, this is about a recent teaser about a serial released by Vijay TV ( which is one of the channel in Tamilnadu with highest TRP). https://youtu.be/KhuYl3vOk1c The above link is the teaser. So let me tell you point by point what is wrong on this teaser and why it is important for us to condemn serials like this.                      The teaser starts by an old woman telling the female lead that even though she was studied in the west, she still respect her culture. They exchange some flattery between themselves. And then.. The male lead gives the intro.                  ...

What does Tamil teens think about caste?

Image
TAMIL TEENS ABOUT CASTE -Sabeshini  I want to know about how teens of my age across the world who speaks Tamil think about caste. So, I just thought why should not I ask about the opinions of my friends. I thought all of our thoughts will be monotonous but surprisingly enough I was wrong. It made me realise that we have to understand all the perspective of people to finally decide about certain things and we have to still try to educate ourselves on these matters. Do you believe in caste? 1:No 2:No 3:Yes 4: No 5: No If yes or no, answer why? 1: I think blood group is the only think that divides us, nothing more. 2: There are better things to work on other than caste. 3:There is always a group everywhere we go. If we have to take out caste, and stood one as a Tamil, we will also be divided as Tamil, Malayalis ,so on and on. Even we stood together as an Indian, there will be another division in the world. But I won't say I am okay with inequality and discrimination in caste system. ...
